Thank you to partners, donors, students who made workshop possible

ThreeSixty uses the tools and principles of journalism to help Minnesota teens, particularly minority and low-income teens, tell the stories of their lives and communities and pursue careers in journalism and communications

A grant from the Carolyn Foundation allowed ThreeSixty, a youth journalism program based at the University of St. Thomas, to offer six-week introductory journalism classes to Minneapolis teens in the fall 2007 and fall 2008.

We thank the foundation for its support and the Minneapolis Public Library for its partnership. We give special thanks to Christy Mulligan, head teen librarian at the Minneapolis Central Library, for her support, instruction and enduring commitment to young people. We also thank Ruben Rosario, columnist for the St. Paul Pioneer Press, for sharing his skills and passion with his students this fall.

Finally, we thank our talented and committed students: Samira Abubakar, Adan Ahmed, Arab Bukhari, Falastin Mohamed, Muktar Hassan, Samia Hersi, Sadia Hirsi, Safia Hirsi, Shibre Tefera Ligdi, Maymun Mohamed, Sadiyo Mohamed, Sahra Osman and Tiffany Trawick. Thanks.

We are now taking applications for summer camps to be held in June and July. Thanks to generous donations, all ThreeSixty programs are free. Applications can be downloaded from our Web site.
